Hi BigJohn,
Can you hear if the auger motor is running? Is the auger motor failing or is there something in the auger/auger housing jammed?

Hi BigJohn,
You may need to bring your auger motor to your dealer to have them verify if it is good or failing. The control board your stove has is a diagnostic tool that will indicate what an issue can be. When the stove shuts down and a heat level setting light is blinking, this is the indicator to the problem. On page 30 of the MagnuM Baby Countryside owner's manual is the information concerning this, under diagnostics. It may not even be the auger motor it may be something else causing the issue and the stove is responding as it should, by shutting the auger motor off.

I've been having the same problem with my auger also. My problem is the auger motor will not run, but the light on the control panel still comes on like it is working, then the stove cools down and shuts down. I open the stove, and wiggle the two wires to the auger motor, and it will start working again, for a short time. Sometimes it works for a couple of days, other times it only works for a couple of hours. I have replaced the female terminals on the wires, but that hasn't seemed to help. I don't know if this is a wiring harness issue, or a motor issue. If I could get some advice on possible solutions, or testing options, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi kyle_7659,
You can have your local dealer test the auger motor and the wire hareness. Have you checked to see if the auger and auger housing are jammed with fuel? Can you hear the auger running? Are the gears bad on the auger motor? Have you checked the continuity in the wire harenss?

The auger is not jammed, and it does not make any noise. The light comes on, but the motor makes no attempt to turn. What is the best way to check the continuity? This will check if the wiring is faulty, correct?
